This is probably the best furniture makeover I've ever seen on Design*Sponge. About two years ago I found a similar looking chair on the side of the road, so Sam and I snagged it. It's been sitting in my house waiting for me to show it some TLC ever since. So when I saw this post I was like YES! This is it!

Never seen or heard of this type of fabric before, so I Googled it. Wikipedia said it's called Suzani, "antique and decorative tribal textile made in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other Central Asia countries."

I love the brightly colored ones most. I want one for my bedspread. I need to learn how to upholster.
