took these pics of my front yard today. the crocuses bloomed under the snow! i was so happy to see them :)

i took these pictures a few years ago, in cape may, nj, with a simple 35mm point and shoot camera. something went all kinds of wrong between me loading the film and getting the pictures developed, but i always liked the way they came out. these images were not retouched at all, the colors were a happy accident.

I spent about 3 hours in the air and space museum in washington dc this past week. I decidedly like air more than space. I absolutely fell in love with amelia earhart's RED lockheed vega (the bottom picture). If i was going to learn to fly, i'd only do it in a plane like this! ok thats probably not true. but this aircraft has style.
